I came home from work today to find HB (hubby) carrying chicken wire through the kitchen and out the back door. I set my purse down and went outside to find out what was going on.
I noticed a kitten poking its head through the fence which was quickly followed by HB saying "call it!!"
Without a moment to spare I yelled, "MEOW, MEOW, MEOW!!!"
The orange cat squeezed its little body out from a small crack in our fence back into the yard.
That explains the chicken wire.
I went back into the house to start dinner. I watched outside as HB was cutting sections of wire to fill the spaces under the fence.
I could tell it wasn't going well; one indication that luck was not on his side was made apparent when the other cat (the black one) came crawling in from a missed gap under the fence and ran back up to the porch. I couldn't help but laugh as I saw HB pick up his chicken wire, mutter a few expletives and come back inside, through the house and out to the garage.
After a few minutes HB came in and said, "I give up....I'm not a friggin' cat wrangler.."
Tonight we learned a valuable lesson: Cats are not meant to be kept; rather, they keep us.
Which is why I'm a dog person.
Until death do us part...
A day in my life.

The vast world of SAM'S CLUB
Today my mom, sister and I are traveling to the far off land of SAM'S.
SAM'S is a place I dread going but I feel like I will make an effort to enjoy it so that I can spend time with my mom and sister.
Hopefully I will make it through the troughs of people and aisles that never end. If I do then I may post later.
Wish me luck.

First blog beakdown.
I have decided to start a blog.
I am not the most interesting of a person but I have a lot of free time and I think I need a hobby.
I will give you a little bit of a background so that the next time I blog I will be able to just jump right into what I'm thinking and not have to explain the small details.
I have been married for almost a year now, heavy on the ALMOST.
I have two dogs, Cookie and Vegas. My original dog's name is Kittie, but she now lives with my parents and my replacement dog is Vegas.
I grew up in the country but my husband and I now live in town.
I like the convenience of living in town but I also miss the different animals and being outdoors with plenty of space to roam around.
While most of the time I keep myself busy with work and MTV's Jersey Shore there are many times when I find myself longing for something fun to do.
My husband is big on playing Halo and if you know ANYTHING about Halo, you will understand why I need to find myself a hobby. Hence the blog.
I figured this blog will be good for me to express what I am feeling as well as lend an insight to young people who are thinking of getting married as to what married life is like as a young adult.
Stay tuned...
